Jeremy Reff was graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 2004, having concentrated in English and American language and literature. Born in Takoma Park, MD in 1982, he lived in Pennsylvania and California before making his way to Cambridge. He is now living and working in New York City. His younger brother, Brian, lives in San Diego with their parents, Mitchell and Miyo. Jeremy has worked on the staff of The New Republic, Boston Review, and The Harvard Advocate magazines. He hopes to go into the field of literary journalism. Jeremy wrote his thesis on the influence of minstrelsy poetics in the work of John Berryman. He is now at work on an article about the evolution of "bling" in American theatrical practice, and a piece examining the similarities in Burke and Schillers' respective considerations of late 18th century political revolution. |
